Sausalito still retains the charm of its fishing village heritage. Tucked just below the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito is first and foremost a town with tremendous views of San Francisco and San Francisco Bay. At the same time it's a contemporary town with a great selection of restaurants , galleries and coffee houses
Most of Sausalito's five mile long waterfront is framed by boat slips and docks. The city is famous for its houseboat culture and its dockside dining.
With a ferry direct to San Francisco, Sausalito is visited by tourists year round. For residents however, the true charm is living in a home in the hills overlooking the bay. It doesn't get any better and you'll be just five minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge.
